Set in U.C. 0084, before Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, the story follows the Titans Test Team, Black Otter Team, on their mission to test new mobile suits for the Titans. It begins with Eliard Hunter, an Earth Federation mobile suit pilot being assigned to the Titans and transferring to the Aswan, an Alexandria class carrier. There he meets Carl Matsubara, another new Titans recruit, Audrey April a skilled pilot and chief of test operations and data gathering, and Wes Murphy, a veteran of the One Year War and the Delaz Conflict. The Black Otter team doesn’t just carry out test runs, it also participates in real combat missions against Zeon Remnants and later, against AEUG. Manga adaptation of the photonovel of the same name.

The story is told from the first person point of view of the protagonist Keiji Kiriya. Keiji is a new recruit in the United Defense Force, fighting against the mysterious creatures called 'Mimics' which have laid siege to Earth. Keiji is killed on his first sortie, but through some inexplicable phenomenon wakes up having returned to the day before the battle, only to find himself caught in a time loop as his death and resurrection repeats time and time again. Keiji's skills as a soldier grows as he passes through the time loops trying to change his fate.

Consecutive wars of the 21st century have taken their toll on the world and humanity.A mercenary organization by the name of SHRIKE has mysteriously gotten hold of a device that produces infinite amounts of clean energy with seemingly no fuel needed.Along with it a new type of bio-armor never before seen in action.This new weapon is known as secto-armor and has become the terror of the battlefield.
Using its endless power source and the secto-armor technology SHRIKE remains dominant over all military powers and refuses to give the device to the countries of the world less they apply it to more weaponry and annihilate what remains of the already torn earth.

The story follows Amata's and Mikono's enrollment into Neo-DEAVA, their fight against the Abductors, and the discovery of their link with their counterparts from 12,000 years ago.Based on the anime that aired from January to June 2012.
