The aging process has stopped and creatures have stayed the same age since they were exposed to the mist.Paze Diamond is a state chimney worker that maintains the piping system that regulates the flow of the blue mist. He is known in the town as a clumsy and unlucky person. Paze is in search of happiness although he doesn’t know what that really means. About the same time he starts seeing blue birds that only he seems to be able to see, Margaret Howell literally falls out of the sky on him. The beautiful and happy Margaret immediately takes interest in Paze. Could this be the happiness Paze has been searching for?

The world of Siesta is set in fantasy Europe where there are people called bullet users who were discriminated against badly for reasons unknown to readers as of volume 1.The discrimination has gotten much weaker due to Grande Corp's efforts to wipe out the decades-old pirate faction with the help of Bulletron, a battle suit designed exclusively for bullet users.The story begins as the protagonist Dia Canto tells you a little bit about herself: how she became an orphan, how she met her foster family, and how she is very much in love with her step brother, Loe. However, her affection toward Loe is brutally crushed before it would even bear fruit and she goes out to vent her sadness. This is when she encounters Cid Leon, who she would ultimately be paid to "protect".

Kaoru’s baseball team is in need of a miracle. They’re facing a rematch with a tough group of sixth graders, and if they don’t win this time, then they’ll forfeit their right to the practice field. Luckily, teammate Yohko’s crystal ball shows them that their savoir lives in the mountains that surround their town. When Kaoru makes the journey to the mountains, he discovers a young ninja named Kyuma, who lives alone and trains with his ninja dog, Inui. With Kyuma’s skills, the team might have a chance to win, but only if Kaoru can teach Kyuma the basics of baseball, and fast!
